SUMMARY:
We're on the lookout for a Scrum Master with 5 years of hands-on experience guiding agile teams through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role is for one of our Clients, a leading establishment, that’s recognised as a Top South African company.

POSITION INFO:
Location: Cape Town, hybrid
Contract Duration: 3 months initially (strong possibility of extension)
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Champion Scrum principles and help the team live agile values
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Collaborate with key stakeholders and technical teams to drive delivery outcomes
Identify and eliminate impediments that slow down the team
Drive continuous improvement in team processes and collaboration

Requirements:

5+ years' experience as a Scrum Master in SDLC or IT-focused teams
Scrum Master Certification is required
Solid understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and real-world implementation
Experience working with cross-functional dev teams and multiple stakeholders
Clear communicator, proactive mindset, and strong facilitation skills
Familiarity with common Scrum or project delivery tools (e.g. backlog management, sprint tracking, collaboration platforms)
Previous experience in contract roles or fast-paced delivery environments
