Security Engineer (Partially remote)

POSITION INFO:

As a Security Engineer you will monitor systems, applications and networks while implementing security recommendations in accordance with industry best practice

You will be involved I establishing security and disaster recovery simulations and risk assessments whilst implementing regulatory requirements and industry standards

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 years server administration

Minimum of 3 years network systems

Minimum of 2 years SIEM

Highly knowledgeable on current security industry trends

Extensive experience in cyber security investigations and recommendations

Skilled in conducting strategic plans to reduce information assets risk

Linux and Windows Operating Systems

Solid compliance and best practice experience (POPIA, GDPR etc.)

Qualification:

BSc Computer Science or Information Technology

Information Security Certification
