JOB DESCRIPTION:

Private Security Company for Hospitality seeks qualified security guards for our Leisure Hotels in Camps Bay.

Minimum Requirements:

PRISA Qualification
At least 2 years experience as a security guard

Main purpose of the job:

Monitor the security perimeters of properties, be aware of all security risks within the allocated areas and provide assistance with cleanliness of allocated areas. Perform duties that have being allocated to them by the specific properties.

Duties:

Operations:
• Control all visits at all entrances and exits of the property
• Patrol the property premises at schedules intervals throughout your shift - When patrolling allocated areas, security needs to be vigilant, visible and aware of their surroundings, assess risk factors. Properly monitor area by using different routes
• Report any irregularities or suspicious behaviour to management
• Inform department if there are any visitors
• Patrol the parking areas
• Search staff belongings upon entering and exiting the premises
General Cross Services:
• Maintenance: During patrols it is crucial to check and report any maintenance matters, lights not working, CCTV where applicable & electric fence status.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of designated area.
• Porter Duties: Assist with guest luggage.
• Rooming of Guests: Rooming of guests where required.
• Events Security: Security for Events where required.
• Garden duties: Oversee the gardens of allocated properties.
