Duties:

Configuration, monitoring, and management of anti-virus Infrastructure
Compile data and analyse results of audits, inspections, daily logs, and incident reports
Data leakage prevention system, rules, and reports
Scan, report, and provide remediation actions to track compliance
Issuing, renewing, and revoking digital certificates
Assess internet and email use on request of various departments
Review firewall rule configuration and report
Report on the status of the cybersecurity control environments on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of monitoring and response controls

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Science, Information Technology) or equivalent NQF 7 level qualification
Cybersecurity certification CEH (Advantageous)

Experience:

5 years’ experience in information security
2 years’ experience with vulnerability and penetration testing
2 years’ experience with network security, application security, computer systems security, IT security auditing and risk assessment
Proven experience with security tools such as Kali Linux, Nessus, Nipper, and Acunetix
Network experience would be advantageous
Information security operations (Security+, CISSP)
Experience working with web and email content filtering systems
A solid understanding of public key infrastructure
