Sen Portfolio Manager - Investments, Cape Town

Reputable Investment Mgt firm seeks driven indiv. Pivotal role to acquire and retain a Portfolio of top clients. Provide sound Investment advice to grow wealth. Exciting career opportunity. Be instrumental in growing their presence in the Cape region. Collaborative culture.

Main responsibilities:

Key role to manage a portfolio of Investments for major clients.
Interface regularly with clients and provide excellent service.
Grow the existing book of business and acquire new business.
Discuss stocks and sectors plus robust Investment philosophy with clients.
Analyse and contributing to the equity research process.
Nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Showcase relevant sectors and make sense of complex markets and issues.
Become a trusted advisor to high-value clients and draft Investment proposals.
Other key duties to be discussed, at interview stage.

Qualification and Experience:

Degree ess. CFA or CA or Masters, an advantage.
10 to 15 years exp in Portfolio Mgt or Asset / Fund Mgt within well-known firm.
