BGC is growing—and we’re looking for a Senior Accountant who’s ready to bring precision, insight, and leadership to our finance team.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of monthly clients
Capturing of bank and other statements
Preparation of journal entries
Maintain a fixed asset register
Reconciling of month end accounts
Preparation of management reports
Preparation of annual financial statements
Preparation of statutory returns: Vat, Paye, Emp501, WCA
Proficient in Sage, Xero
Intermediate Excel skills

What you'll need:

Minimum of 3 years verifiable experience in a similar role
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Completed articles
An understanding of accounting principles
Excellent verbal, communication and written skills
Ability to perform in a pressurised and demanding work environment
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Attention to detail
