POSITION INFO:
Senior Accountant - Johannesburg North

Responsibilities:

Lead accounting for investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, private equity, and alternative assets
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual investment financial statements
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Auditors
Drive process improvements and automation in investment accounting workflows

Requirements:

CA(SA) designation (or equivalent)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the investment or asset management space
Deep understanding of investment vehicles and financial instruments
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with investment accounting systems
