SUMMARY:
This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who will join their existing accounting department. The ability to meet deadlines, solve problems, and work independently is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Key Focus Areas
- Monthly Accounting and reporting
- VAT return calculations and submissions
- Drafting of Financial Statements
- Tax Planning
- Income tax preparations for companies, trusts, individuals

Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly accounting services for a range of clients
- Plan effectively to ensure timely and accurate reporting and submissions
- Liaise with clients and the internal accounting team
- Ensure all deadlines are met
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients

Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting
- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience within a similar role
- Proficiency in Xero (essential)
- Proficient in CaseWare Working Papers
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritise tasks independently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills with clients and external partners
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritise tasks independently
- Be able to work under pressure
