SUMMARY:
A well-established accounting practice in Swellendam is seeking a skilled and hands-on Senior Accountant to manage a diverse client portfolio.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review annual financial statements and monthly management accounts
Oversee bookkeeping and general ledger accuracy
Manage full SARS compliance (VAT, PAYE, provisional tax and income tax)
Liaise with SARS on audits and verifications
Provide financial advisory and tax-planning support to clients
Supervise and mentor junior staff

Requirements

SAIPA / SAICA / AGA(SA) registered (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years’ post-articles experience in an accounting practice
Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and South African tax legislation
Experience with Sage, Xero, Draftworx and MS Excel
Ability to manage deadlines and client relationships independently
