POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
A well-established business within the construction division is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their team based in Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting function with a strong focus on general ledger management, reconciliations, month-end and year-end reporting processes.

This role requires a technically strong finance professional who enjoys operating within a deadline-driven environment and can add value through accuracy, structure and financial control.

Key Responsibilities:
- General ledger management
- Monthly reconciliations and reporting
- Month-end and year-end processes
- Financial accounting and reporting
- Maintaining financial controls and compliance
- Assisting with operational finance functions within the construction division

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- BCom degree essential
- SAIPA or SAICA articles preferred

Experience:
- Strong financial accounting and reporting exposure
- Experience within construction or operational environments advantageous
- Hands-on month-end and year-end experience essential

Skills Required:
- Strong FAR knowledge
- Advanced reconciliation and GL experience
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
