Senior Accountant

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Accountant. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys combining financial reporting with commercial analysis and business partnering. The successful candidate will be responsible for management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, financial controls and supporting operational teams to drive business performance. This position offers exposure to a fast-paced environment, leadership responsibilites and the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making across the business.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, and financial performance across business units
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support operational teams with financial insights and decision-making
Monitor inventory costs, stock valuations, and stock take processes
Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and financial policies
Assist with external audits and year-end reporting requirements
Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial efficiencies

Skills & Experience:
3+ years experience in a similar role
Microsoft Dynamics (D365) experience – HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS
Advanced Excel skills
Driven and strong attention to detail

Qualification:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related
