Our client, a well-established organisation within the fuel and transportation industry, is looking to appoint a newly qualified CA(SA) to join their high-performing finance team. This hybrid opportunity offers exceptional exposure across four business units, allowing you to broaden your commercial acumen while taking ownership of key financial functions. This is more than a traditional Financial Manager role. You'll oversee the finance function across multiple companies, prepare Annual Financial Statements, drive the management accounting process, and lead a team of both internal and external accountants. Lead the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS). Provide financial oversight and support across multiple business units. Manage and mentor two internal accountants and coordinate three external accountants. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and statutory requirements. Drive month-end and year-end reporting processes. Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting efficiencies. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support business decision-making. Job Experience and Skills Required Education Newly qualified CA(SA) (non-negotiable). Experience Newly qualified Chartered Accountant ready to take the next step into commercial finance. Exposure to financial reporting, management accounts and Annual Financial Statements. Leadership potential with the confidence to manage and coordinate finance teams. Experience within transport, logistics, fuel or related industries will be advantageous. Skills Xero (advantageous).
