POSITION INFO:

Positioned as a pivotal link within the finance department, this role moves well beyond basic bookkeeping, giving you full ownership of complex monthly closures, asset management, and rigorous compliance structures.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or equivalent is essential. A SAIPA certification or completed SAICA articles will be highly advantageous.

Minimum of 5 years of solid corporate accounting experience. Prior exposure to the logistics, courier, or transport industry is a distinct advantage.
Robust practical knowledge of advanced financial reporting standards (including IFRS 16) and experience managing corporate audit functions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis) and established ERP packages or Sage accounting software.
Exceptional numerical precision, professional English communication skills, and the personal confidence to operate effectively under strict corporate deadlines.
