POSITION INFO:
Position:Senior Accountant Salary:R25,000 – R35,000 CTC per month Area:Monumentpark, Pretoria JobDescription: Key Responsibilities • Prepare annual financial statements using CaseWare. • Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries. • Prepare and review management accounts. • Prepare VAT, PAYE, and income tax returns. • Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records. • Assist with statutory and SARS compliance. • Prepare working papers and supporting documentation. • Liaise with clients regarding accounting and tax matters. • Mentor and support junior accounting staff where required. • Ensure deadlines are met and work complies with relevant accounting standards. Minimum Requirements •Relevant Accounting qualification (BCom Accounting or equivalent). •Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting practice. •Advanced proficiency in CaseWare (essential). •Strong working knowledge of Pastel (essential). •Solid understanding of South African tax legislation and accountingprinciples. •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. •Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Fluent in Afrikaans (spoken and written). •Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle. Preferred Skills • Experience working with multiple client accounts. • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines. • Professional, client-focused approach. • Strong organisational and time management skills.
