Senior Accountant (6 Month Contract)

Reputable concern based in Paarden Eiland is currently in search of an experienced Accountant with at least 5 years post articles experience for a 6 month fixed term contract.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

Relevant Finance/Accounting Degree
At least 5 years relevant experience gained in a large-medium sized company
Completed Articles (non negotiable)
Work independently of supervision,

Very strong reconciliation skills, especially large spreadsheets,
Familiarity of the background workings of an ERP
Comprehensive understanding of accounting issues,
Review and commentary of annual financial statements
Proven experience of independently leading and executing a financial audit;
In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices;
