SUMMARY:
A leading company in the Feed Mill Industry is looking for an experienced accountant to join their company based in Vereeniging. Reporting to the Financial Manager of the Vereeniging Plant, the experienced Senior Accountant will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Results Required:

Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
The Senior Accountant will combine excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing a team of Accountants and Junior Accountants.
Senior Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all our accounting tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric Qualification/Grade 12 or equivalent
B.Com Financial Accounting / Chartered Accounting Degree
Appropriate experience will be advantageous – 5 years.
