JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client in the transport and Logistics Industry is looking for a Senior Accountant based in Pretoria

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting
At least five years of experience as an Accountant
Good communication skills and the ability to communicate well in English
Good experience with Microsoft Advanced Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Documents and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding as well as an ability to use these products
Full function of accounts to Trial Balance
Analysis and reporting of Income Statements
Review and completion of cashbooks
Fuel, oil, and tyre stock management
Fixed asset management (Fixed Asset register and GL)
Cost of Sales Accruals
EFT payments for SA and Botswana
VAT returns (SARS + BURS statutory requirements)
Review creditor recons
Cashbooks, invoicing, income statement, and VAT
Year-end finalization and audit requests
Review and preparation of weekly/ monthly wages
