JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a giant in the Technology Sector is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic and growing team. The successful individual must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, accompanied by strong attention to details. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Monthly management accounts and reporting
Preparing of statutory returns, VAT submissions and tax compliance
Assisting with preparation of annual financial statements
Budgets and forecasts
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Managing junior accounting staff

Skills & Experience:
Advanced computer literacy
Sage X3 knowledge (beneficial)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a leadership role
Ability to support other departments and subsidiaries

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles (non-negotiable)
Minimum 2-3 years post article experience in commerce
