An established accounting firm, based in Pretoria, seeks an experienced and innovative Accountant to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
This established accounting firm in Pretoria is looking for an experienced and innovative Accountant to join their team.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

Preparation of financial statements
Taxation duties and business advisory
Preparation of tax returns for individuals and companies
Client liaison and business development
Liaison with SARS
Payroll processing
Debtors and creditors tasks
UIF duties
Working on Pastel Partner and eFiling

Education:

Minimum Diploma in Finance or Accounting
BCom in Finance or Accounting beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles preferred
3 to 4 years' experience in a full function accounting role
Strong Pastel Partner knowledge
Strong SARS eFiling and related duties knowledge
Financial and business acumen
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
Willingness to work overtime when required
Own reliable transport and valid drivers license
