JOB SUMMARY:
High profile financial Services group seeks an experienced Senior Accountant reporting to the Group FM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A successful and high profile boutique financial services company seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join their professional team. The company is based close to Sandton City in Sandton.

Reporting to the group FM the role is varied and demanding and requires a diligent, accurate individual with a stable work track record.

The candidate must hold a completed BCom Honours (Accounting). Completed Articles are essential.
A minimum of 10 years relevant post Articles experience including staff management is required. The role includes:

Overall review and sign off all bookkeepers’ work to B/S
Overall sign off and review of all recons
Calculation of all required journal entries for intercompany transactions, salaries, impairment, fair value adjustments, depreciation, tax and any other journals requested by management.
Review of all payments made, local and foreign
Assisting with reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts
Assisting with projects as required
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Assisting with budgets
Cashflow
Preparation of Tax computations
Assisting with the preparation of monthly salaries and associated admin
Admin and compliance as required
Review of internal controls as required
