A Johannesburg North based Telecommunications giant is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Accountant to join their formidable finance team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Johannesburg North based Telecommunications giant is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Accountant to join their formidable finance team.

The successful candidate’s duties include but are not limited to, releasing payments, update and monitor bank statements and accounts, fixed asset depreciation, payroll, sales administration, expense allocations, reconciliations, VAT calculations, preparation of financial statements and monthly journals; you will also oversee the full bookkeeping function as well as CIPC duties.

Education Requirements:

BCom in Accounting or Finance

Job Requirements and Skills:

3 to 4 years' experience in a full function accounting role is essential
CIPC knowledge and experience
Sage Evolution working knowledge
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
