Senior Accountant/Finance Operations Lead | Up to R 720 000.00 | CPT

One of our clients is looking for a Senior Accountant / Finance Operations Lead to take ownership of the company's financial operations, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and management reporting in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.

POSITION INFO:
âWhat You'll Be Doing: â Own and maintain the integrity of the Xero general ledger â Reconcile banks, Yoco and payment platforms â Manage inventory accounting between Cin7 and Xero â Oversee stock movements, landed costs and cost of sales â Reconcile Shopify, Cin7 and payment platform sales â Manage debtors, creditors and supplier reconciliations â Prepare supplier payment schedules and cash flow forecasts â Deliver monthly management accounts and financial reporting â Produce inventory ageing, gross margin and stock analysis reports â Ensure VAT, payroll taxes and statutory compliance â Strengthen financial controls and resolve discrepancies ð¯ We're Looking For: â Bcom Accounting Qualification â SAICA or SAIPA Articles (or equivalent practical experience) â 10+ years' accounting experience â 5+ years in a Senior Accountant or Financial Accountant role â Strong hands-on Xero experience (essential) â Experience with Cin7 or similar inventory management systems â Experience reconciling Yoco, PayFast, Peach Payments or similar platforms â Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, reconciliations) â Retail, Wholesale or Inventory-based industry experience â Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll taxes and South African accounting standards If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV.
