JOB SUMMARY:

This client is looking for a Senior Accountant: Reporting, where you will report directly to the Head of Finance of the IT and Facilities divisions. This role comes with a succession plan to enhance your skillset. Financial statements, statutory reporting and audit processes will form part of your portfolio.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

VAT
TAX
Communicating regularly with the auditors and assist with the audit processes
Financial reporting
Statutory reporting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting or equivalent
BCom Accounting Honours/CTA
Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed 3 years of articles (Big 4 or medium audit firm would be advantageous)
Exposure in a group reporting role
Performed financial statements, statutory reporting accrual journals
3 years post articles experience if you have a degree
1 year post article experience if you are a CA(SA)

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of ERP systems
Strong academics
Knowledge of IFRS
Passionate about IT
