Actuarial Senior Analyst – Group Risk (Valuations Focus)
POSITION INFO:
Are you a nearly qualified actuary or a senior actuarial student with a passion for delivering insights and driving impact in the group risk insurance space? This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven team within a well-established financial services environment.
What You’ll Do
As part of the Corporate Actuarial team, you’ll support the Group Risk Product Range including Group Life, Funeral, PHI, Lump Sum Disability, and Credit Life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and analyzing quarterly valuation results
- Performing liability and embedded value calculations
- Analyzing profitability trends and claims experience
- Conducting data analysis, sensitivity testing, and forecasting
- Supporting product oversight from a statutory actuary perspective
- Driving process improvements and ensuring regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For- A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
- Completion of at least 7 A-series exams, progressing toward qualification
- 3–5 years of experience in actuarial valuations and/or reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Familiarity with SQL or other programming/database tools is a plus
