SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Actuarial Analyst to provide actuarial technical support within the Life Actuarial team and to coach and mentor junior analysts.

The role focuses on building, deploying, and monitoring actuarial models to identify business challenges, evaluate pricing and profitability, and deliver dataâdriven solutions that support sustainable growth.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will play a key role across the full actuarial control cycle, working closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical outcomes into clear commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, deploy, and monitor actuarial and pricing models across the full actuarial control cycle
Plan and implement model and system changes, including impact and sensitivity analysis
Translate actuarial outputs into clear insights on profitability, pricing, and policy growth
Analyse and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accurate modelling and reporting
Manage key metrics including value of new business, embedded value, and product profitability
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and support decision making
Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and innovative actuarial solutions
Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and professional actuarial standards
Mentor and coach junior analysts and contribute to capability building within the team

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field
Nearly / Newly Qualified Actuary (minimum 12 exams)

Experience:

3+ years actuarial experience within the financial services or insurance industry (Essential)

Skills:

Strong actuarial modelling and analytical capability
Experience with pricing, profitability, and experience analysis
Excellent documentation and process governance skills
Ability to translate technical results into clear business insight
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Coaching and mentoring capability
