Senior Analyst

SUMMARY:
We’re working with a forward-thinking organization that is on the lookout for a Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in collections data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex datasets into strategic insights that drive business performance.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Senior Data Analyst / BI Analyst (Collections Experience Required)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collections-Focused Data Analysis:
  
  • Leverage data from diverse sources—particularly in the collections space—to analyze patterns, identify opportunities, and recommend actions that improve operational outcomes.
• Trend and Insight Identification:
  
  • Conduct data exploration using BI tools to extract relevant insights, highlight trends, and support data-driven decisions across business units.
• Predictive Modeling & Advanced Analytics:
  
  • Apply statistical models and forecasting techniques to support proactive business planning and strategy development.
• Risk Analysis & Scenario Planning:
  
  • Assess business and market risks through analytical modeling, particularly around credit and collections functions.
• Reporting & Dashboarding:
  
  • Create and deliver meaningful reports and dashboards that align with business KPIs and operational needs.
• Stakeholder Advisory:
  
  • Offer data-driven guidance to internal stakeholders, clarifying complex analytical results and supporting key decisions.
• Compliance & Governance:
  
  • Monitor adherence to data governance practices, regulatory requirements, and internal policies—especially those relevant to financial and collections data.
• Continuous Learning:
  
  • Stay current on data trends, tools, and certifications through ongoing learning and industry exposure.

• Demonstrated experience working with collections-related data and reporting
• Strong knowledge of data analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Python)
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial or credit environments is advantageous
• Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders
