SUMMARY:
Our Client, a leading and established organisation, is looking for someone with a strong eye for quality and a solid grasp of Agile Testing in fast-moving, DevOps-aligned teams. This Senior Automation Tester role will suit a test analyst who enjoys being hands-on with execution, automation, and collaboration across test and business teams.

POSITION INFO:

You'll be involved in:

Planning, scheduling and executing test cycles in an Agile setup
Designing and documenting regression testing requirements
Preparing test cases and identifying test data
Running regression tests and contributing to test documentation
Raising and tracking issues, bugs or risks with the right teams
Adding automated tests to the broader testing framework

Requirements:

A relevant certification like ISTQB (plus Matric as a minimum)
At least 2 years of experience testing in Agile and DevOps environments
Background in financial services or insurance is important
Experience with conversion transactions, new business processes or uploads is useful
Good understanding of testing frameworks and modern QA practices
Comfortable with tools like JIRA, BDD, and ideally automation libraries like Cucumber
SQL or basic database familiarity is advantageous
Exposure to Java and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
