JOB DESCRIPTION:

A busy Production House is looking for a Senior 2D ANIMATOR to urgently join their growing tribe of creative superstars. A minimum of 5 years' experience required for the role. You’ll be required to create animations from conceptualisation to storyboarding, to full implementation and finished product. You will be responsible for working hand in hand with a creative team to produce exciting and relevant content that pushes the boundaries for their clients and wows them endlessly.

Responsibilities:

Professional demeanour with an ability to deal with external client relationships
Ability to take client briefs and feed back to the team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
An ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines of clients, producing work of a suitable style and standard in accordance with their needs
Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design
Ability to comprehend the content which they are given and produce visuals that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but convey the messaging of the client in the best way possible
Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution
Manage time effectively, ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully, - quality control is key
Present creative work, absorb feedback in a positive manner and accomplish required changes
Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Essential Skills

Solid Experience with After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop

A passion for 2D animation and willingness to constantly evolve your skills

Highly desirable skills:

Some experience with editing video in Adobe Premiere

Some experience in design

Some 3D experience would be a plus

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of animation experience.

A strong portfolio, with a showreel, must be part of your application
