Translate business and technical requirements into robust technical solutions. Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET. Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services. Work with SQL Server, including database development, queries and optimisation. Develop modern web solutions using HTML5 and CSS. Contribute to front-end development, including Blazor. Participate in the full SDLC, from requirements through to deployment and support. Work within Agile\/Scrum\/Kanban development environments. Identify and resolve technical issues and production problems. Contribute to technical design, architecture and development standards. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices. Write and maintain automated\/unit tests. Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA and other stakeholders. Mentor and support junior developers where required. Identify opportunities to improve application performance, quality and efficiency. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Relevant degree, diploma or IT\/software development qualification. Experience: 6-8 years' software development experience. Strong experience with C# and .NET \/ .NET Core. Experience with SQL Server. Strong experience developing REST APIs \/ Web APIs. Experience with HTML5 and CSS. Experience with Blazor or comparable modern web technologies. Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle. Experience working within Agile, Scrum or Kanban environments. Experience with unit testing and software quality practices. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advantageous Experience with Azure \/ Azure DevOps. CI\/CD and DevOps experience. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit. Experience within insurance or financial services. Experience with cloud technologies, microservices or enterprise application environments. Previous experience mentoring or guiding developers.
