An established South African law firm, known for its commitment to delivering practical, results-driven legal services across multiple disciplines including commercial law, litigation, and forensic investigations, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join their dynamic team in Gauteng. What You'll Do: Lead and manage litigation cases in magistrates’ courts and the High Court, demonstrating proven litigation skills. Work independently and collaboratively to deliver strategic legal advice to clients. Handle court procedures using High Court Rules, Caselines, and Court Online efficiently. Represent clients with the right of appearance at the High Court. Contribute to the firm’s reputation through excellent client service and legal expertise. Requirements: 6 to 8 years of post-qualification legal experience. Proven litigation skills at magistrates’ courts and the High Court. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with High Court Rules, Caselines, and Court Online. Right of appearance at the High Court. Nice to Have: Additional experience in commercial law, dispute resolution, or forensic investigations is advantageous. Benefits: Competitive salary package ranging from R800,000 to R1,200,000 per year (Cost to Company), with negotiability.
