POSITION INFO:

One of my listed financial services clients is seeking a Senior BI Analyst with a high level of business acumen to utilize data and analytical skills. They will provide support to the wider Data & Analytics team in order for business to make better decision. The success incumbent will be required to take full ownership and operate as a primary contact for both internal and external clients within a specified product area.

Responsibilities:

• Required to consistently produce business insight with pinpoint accuracy together with high quality recommendations that are ready for implementation and have direct benefit to bank.
• Required to join data and source information from multiple sources/processes and integrate external data sources where such do not exist in the data warehouse
• Develop appropriate metrics and measures on this information for analysis and  interpretation which takes into account the business processes
• Responsible for effectively and efficiently addressing client queries / questions
• Interact with business users on a business level to understand the potential risk / business impact of need
• Translate business needs into technical/system requirements applicable to business
• End-to-end data driven analysis to address business needs
• Identify potential business "triggers" that impact reports
• Development of new reports
• Maintenance & enhancement of existing reports
• Assist with the establishment of processes to ensure effective resolution of all queries

Requirements:

• 5 years'' experience as Business Intelligence Analyst including experience in and understanding of database structure design and data extraction principles
• Degree in statistics, finance, actuarial science, mathematics, mathematical sciences or engineering
