Are you a seasoned Senior BI (Business Intelligence) Specialist with +5 years' experience in BI solutions delivery (data analytics / data mining)? Here's an opportunity to join a progressive company in Johannesburg East.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Vacancy Overview:
A leader in the Automotive Services industry is looking for a Senior BI Analyst to execute the Business Intelligence lifecycle, delivering optimised and efficient BI solutions.

Main Mission:
This involves defining issue statements (identifying areas of improvement) in business support processes, designing, developing, testing, implementing, executing and end-to-end documentation of BI solutions, to user support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop technical standards for the BI Department to follow.
Oversee alignment to strategic objectives and compliance of your own and BI solutions as well as those of Junior BI Specialists.
Query, analyse and build financial reports.
Keep up to date with new technological resources (research and development).
Code reviews and code refactoring.

Requirements:

+5 years in BI solutions delivery (data analytics / data mining)
MS SQL, Power BI, SASS, SSRS, SSIS, and advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables).
+2 years' experience in data warehouse design.
+ 1 year cloud solutions development / data lakes.

Desirable Experience:

Scripting (Dax)
C# intermediate experience
Web development experience (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).

Education:

Matric Certificate.
Microsoft BI / Data Analytics Certification.
Diploma / Higher qualification in Corporate Finance or Management Finance.
