JOB SUMMARY:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be joining a team of talented Java developers. You will be working in a microservice environment, generally REST API based, spanning across multiple domains of the business, such as billing, core networks, consumer & marketing, operations and many more. The services you will be working on are highly available, easily scalable and run at high throughputs with low latency.

As a senior, you will be expected to lead, guide, encourage and motivate other members of the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working and collaborating with a team of developers.
Taking ownership of the services you will be working on.
Delivering fast and delivering safely.
Applying your knowledge and experience to further educate the team and improve our services.
Materializing the business’s vision.

Requirements:

3+ Years’ experience with:

Docker
CI/CD
Microservice Architecture

5+ Years’ experience with:

Spring Boot
JPA
RDBMS
Unit Testing

Advantageous experience:

Kubernetes
Kafka / Confluent
Message Queues
ELK Stack
GitLab (CI)
PostgreSQL
NoSQL

Behavioural Competencies:
