Key Responsibilities:

Design and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Implement and maintain Microsoft Failover Clusters, Hyper-V, and storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs to ensure data integrity
Collaborate with teams to ensure comprehensive backup coverage and compliance
Provide technical support and maintain documentation for backup systems

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Proven experience in enterprise-level backup and recovery engineering
Strong knowledge of Microsoft clustering and virtualization technologies
Hands-on expertise with SAN/NAS storage and mainstream backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault)
Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and cloud-based backup solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS)
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills; relevant certifications preferred
