SUMMARY:
Our client in the hire of Plant and Machinery industry has an opportunity available for a Senior Bookkeeper. This position will be based in the Germiston, Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric/ Grade 12
Finance related qualification
Minimum 5 (Five) years experience
Bookkeeping certificate

KPAs:

Check daily figures, weekly sales and them send them out as required
Prepare GL month end recons for the recon file
Maintain FEC register for payments made
Check the actual creditors remittance advises to the creditors statements before payments can be captured by Junior Bookkeeper on the bank
Check that the creditor payments was correctly captured on the bank before doing the first release
Maintain a payment register for daily payments made and request tax invoices when paid on a quote or pro forma invoice
Write off small values for the cash advance rounding on the K8 system.
Perform bank recons on the system.
