Our clients are looking for candidate’s with a finance qualification to be part of their growing teams, we looking for high accomplishers to fill our bookkeeping roles. The incumbent must be passionate and have strong bookkeeping experience, team player and exceptional communication skills. POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts;
Ensure legal requirements compliance;
Develops and maintain systems to account for financial transactions;
Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures;
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries;
Maintains general ledger;
Reconciling entries;
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends;
Enforcing adherence to requirements;
Filing reports; advising management on needed actions;
Produce monthly management accounts to the Financial Manager for review;
All payroll functions, including leave capturing;
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
Preparation and submission of PAYE returns Preparation and submission of VAT returns;
Completion of tax returns.

Qualification

Matric (Grade 12);
Bachelors degree in Accounting/ Finance or any other related degree.

Experience

5 years booking experience is required;
Completed articles would be a huge advantage;
Strong accounting and administrative experience;
Software knowledge Accounting Pastel and Advanced Excel; and
Experience supervising staff will advantageous.
