JOB SUMMARY:
Stanger. Opportunity exists for meticulous, attentive Senior Bookkeeper with at least 3-5 years relevant experience to join franchisee of well-known fast-food chain.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Will suit hardworking team player with sound organisation and accuracy skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle pressure whilst meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Receive all invoices / credit notes from creditors
Confirm the validity of the tax invoices / credit notes, ensure that they have been duly approved
Reconciliation of vendor invoices and statements
Prepare payment requisitions, payment allocations and reconcile creditor accounts
Set invoices up for payment and payment of creditors
Ensure that allocations are done correctly to the GL account
Create new vendors on the Xero system in accordance with the information received
Perform an age analysis on all vendor accounts on a continual basis throughout the month in order to establish that payments are made timeously
Attend to all creditor queries by liaising with suppliers
Implement financial controls for creditors department
Monitor financial control to ensure compliance
Document control and management
Enter and upload invoices to the system
Track expenses and process expense reports
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Produce weekly and monthly supplier age analysis

Requirements:

Matric plus 3-year Finance qualification
Minimum 3-5 years creditors experience
Bookkeeping principles
Strong sales to banking recon experience will be an advantage
