Senior Bookkeeper (Permanent)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage the company’s bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with SME finance experience.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Process debtor and creditor invoices accurately
• Maintain fixed asset registers and journal entries
• Reconcile accounts and prepare management reports
• Payroll processing and SARS compliance
• VAT returns and monthly financial reporting
• Assist with audits and other compliance tasks

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Bookkeeping
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Pastel, BuildSmart, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
• SME or project-based finance experience advantageous
