Position: Senior Business Analyst
Project: High-Priority MDM Project
Location: Remote (in South Africa)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Compensation: Hourly Rate

About the Role:
InfoBluePrint is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a high-stakes MDM project. The project involves the analysis and transformation of sales, purchase order, financial transaction, and product data from Oracle JDE and MS Syspro ERP systems into a new SQL data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis, particularly in high-pressure environments, and bring a deep understanding of financial data and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Requirements Definition: Lead the process of defining, documenting, and validating business requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of source data, ensuring accurate migration into the new SQL data warehouse.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather insights, manage expectations, and ensure the project remains on track.
• Testing & Validation: Design and execute rigorous testing procedures to validate data accuracy and system functionality.
• BI Analytics :Analysis of source data from existing dashboards (Qlik View & Qlik Sense & Hyperian)

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Formal Qualification in Business Analysis, A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, would be highly beneficial.
• Industry Experience: Extensive experience in retail or manufacturing sectors, with a solid understanding of the industry's data needs.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency with SQL, and experience working with SAP or Oracle ERP systems, specifically Oracle JDE.
• Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and business requirement definition skills, with a focus on translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to perform under pressure, with a flexible approach to problem-solving in dynamic environments.
• Team Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• BI & Analytics: Familiarity with BI analytics and data warehouse integration is highly advantageous.
• Sector-Specific Knowledge: Experience working within manufacturing sectors such as paper, plastics, packaging, and recycling.
