We are urgently seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Card Payments to support a high-impact initiative as a consultant.

What youâ€™ll do:

Serve as the Senior Business Analyst for card payment initiatives, ensuring business and technical alignment with Standard Bankâ€™s delivery framework.
Analyse, document, and translate business requirements related to VISA, Mastercard, and ISO8583-based transaction processing systems.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, developers, testers, and compliance teams.
Facilitate feature refinement workshops, prioritise backlogs, and ensure timely delivery against project milestones.
Drive compliance with PCI DSS standards across card-related features and ensure security requirements are incorporated from inception.
Support user story creation, test planning, and UAT execution from a business analysis perspective.
Monitor feature performance post-release and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your expertise:

A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Feature Analyst in a financial services environment
Proven experience working with card payment systems â€“ ideally with both VISA and Mastercard processing flows.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with ISO8583 messaging standards.
Exposure to ISO20022 messaging format and migration projects is beneficial
Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance and security protocols for card data handling
Strong facilitation, analytical, and documentation skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
