We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join our team and drive innovation in the app and software development space. What you’ll do:

• As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll work closely with clients, product teams, and developers to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact software solutions.
• Consult with clients and stakeholders to understand their value chains, business structures, and product/service offerings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Challenge and refine business requirements to ensure alignment with strategic goals and user needs.
• Independently elicit, analyze, document, validate, and communicate business requirements using user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Write clear, concise user stories, epics, and features aligned with the INVEST principles to support agile development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a well-prioritized product backlog, ensuring a steady flow of valuable work for delivery teams.
• Conduct in-depth product analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to deployment and post-launch analysis.

Your expertise:

• Fleet industry experience (e.g., telematics, logistics, or fleet management systems) is highly beneficial.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis within a custom software development environment.
• Strong understanding and application of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proven experience writing user stories, epics, and features in line with INVEST principles.
• Skilled in facilitating workshops (e.g., JAD sessions) for requirement elicitation and process mapping (As-Is and To-Be).
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, including the ability to interpret API documentation, understand request/response structures (e.g., JSON/XML), and collaborate with developers on integration requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting established business objectives.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Empathy for stakeholders and a user-centric approach to solution design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira.
• Ability to read and interpret JSON and XML files.
• Familiarity with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) approaches, including writing Gherkin-style scenarios.
