Senior Business Analyst (Consultant)

Minumum requirments:

• Degree/ BS degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Engineering or Quantitative Studies.
• Additional Qualification - Business Management and/or Project Management is highly advantageous or equivalent qualification in required field, a qualification or certification in project management is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in management consulting/ 10 Year in operational environment.
• Must have a valid driver license and own vehicle is an advantage.
• Expected to work long hours from time to time and expected to travel.

Duties & responsibilties:

• Understands client problems at a project/ work stream level and be able to give suggestions and recommendation.
• Conducts detailed research to make solid client recommendations.
• Ability to provide timely status reports as part of project governance, internally and externally to clients.
• Forms long term collaborative relationships with clients of all levels to deliver work – deliver pitches, identify what the agenda is.
• Able to coach and be a mentor to junior staff and external clients.
• Develops and adheres to a personal development plan.
• Manages one''''s time and resources to ensure that objectives are achieved effectively on time and within budget.
• Maximizes or leverages the strengths of the team in a competitive environment.
• Understanding municipal systems act (NRC only) (inhouse).
• Advanced project management (PRINCE 2/PMI certification)
