Senior Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for analysing data from various sources to ensure that it's presented in the most effective way. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the systems used by our business analysts.

Requirements

Establish a relationship with key stakeholders to communicate project progress and document issues/concerns in a shared project information system.
Develop and maintain effective written and verbal communications with internal and external customers.
Work with project team members to identify and address issues related to technical data and reports required by the customer.
Investigates problems related to data integrity.
Must be able to document the new to be business processes in each of the main streams of the project:

Geostats;

Geology;

Mine Planning;

Survey;

Ventilation;

Rock Engineering;

Dashboards and reporting.

Work closely with the data analyst to standardize the data elements.

Qualifications

5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst
Two years of experience as a business analyst or user experience designer.
Matric
Mining Experience/Industry Experience essential
Tertiary Qualification in related field required
