A Manufacturing company based in Johannesburg is urgently looking for a Senior Buyer to join their fast-paced environment to maintain raw material database within MRP System for accuracy of pricing and specifications

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Matric
Degree / Diploma in Purchasing or Supply chain
3-5 years’ experience in MRP and Syspro- Not Negotiable
5 years’ experience in Procurement
3 years’ experience in electronics or appliance business

Job description

Maintain and follow purchasing procurers to confirm to ISO standards
Deal with queries effectively
Must have a good understanding of the BBBEE
Maintain and build good relationship with suppliers
Identify alternative suppliers to fill present and future needs
Forecast analysis
