POSITION INFO:
Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation within the IT and financial services space, focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable software solutions. They are looking for a Senior C# Developer to take ownership of maintaining, enhancing, and upgrading web-based systems, APIs, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain C# applications, websites, APIs, and system integrations
Analyse business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality software solutions
Perform code profiling, debugging, and unit testing to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine and improve development specifications
Manage and maintain version control systems and code repositories
Provide operational support and resolve technical issues for internal teams and key clients

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related IT field (or equivalent qualification

Experience:

5–8 years’ experience in a software development role (mandatory)
Experience within the financial services industry is advantageous

Skills & Technical Competencies:

Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development
Solid experience with JavaScript, HTML, ASP, and related web technologies
Good working knowledge of SQL and SQL Server (or other databases), including basic database design and maintenance
Experience with source code repositories and version control systems
