SUMMARY:
Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking a Senior Cargo Coordinator with 4-6 years of experience in Logistics, Warehouse & Freight. Responsible for flight planning, staff delegation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Senior Cargo Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing of Flights
Planning of flight
Delegation of staff
Knowledge of the product
ULD Control (UCM/LUC/SCM and equipment requests)
Produce On hand reports for airline
Have Flight Booking List (FBL) for the build of flight
Flight Manifest for In-Check
Correct stationary on hand (Pallet tags, Tally sheets, DGR/AVI/PER Check sheets, etc.)
Administrative responsibilities:
Tally sheets and in-checks
Complete special cargo handling procedure - damages/discrepancies/special deliveries/special handling
Manifest, NOTOC, weight statement checks to be completed before sending off documents
Checking of acceptance documents, correct pc, weight, release, flight details, and depot code.
Adhere to security & safety requirements, legislation, policies, and procedures:
Keep up to date with all new developments applicable to the scope of your job
Operate within the requirements
Immediately notify the departmental manager of any transgressions
Follow the OHS Act
Always ensure you have the correct PPE
Report damaged PPE
Compliance with SARS Act/Regulations
Compliance with OHS Act
Compliance with Airline SGHA & SLA's
Compliance with SA CAA Regulations for the entire warehouse
IOD to be reported immediately and ensure WCA forms are completed
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
Cargo Handling and Forklift Driving
Counterbalance 7 Ton - Valid License
Sectors: Logistics, Warehouse & Freight
Functions: Forklift, Reach Truck, PPT Driver, Distribution Operator, Export Clerk, Fleet Controller, Supply Chain Co-ordinator
