POSITION INFO:

About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). You’ll work closely with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver scalable and reliable architectures that drive business value.

Duties

Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures.
Evaluate current systems and recommend architectural improvements.
Lead cloud migration efforts and develop roadmaps for cloud adoption.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
Establish cloud governance and best practices.
Mentor junior architects and engineers; act as a thought leader in cloud strategy.
Stay current with emerging cloud trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,Information Technology or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in cloud architecture.
Certificate in TOGAF
Familiarity with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps principles.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Expertise in cloud networking, security, and cost optimization.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.

Advanced knowledge & experience in these areas:

Cloud Architectures
Interpretation of Business Requirements & Logical Designs
Cloud Cyber-security design experience
Cloud Cost Management & Optimisation

Duration:12 Months
