Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS)

POSITION INFO:

My client is an AgriTech SaaS company looking for a senior‑level Cloud DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that supports their production platform.

This role is about building, scaling, and optimizing, not babysitting systems. You’ll work closely with engineering and data teams to design reliable AWS infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure systems are secure, observable, and performant.
You’ll be trusted to make infrastructure decisions, improve CI/CD pipelines, and introduce automation that genuinely reduces friction. The work is hands‑on, technically deep, and directly tied to product success. If you enjoy solving hard infrastructure problems and seeing the real‑world impact of what you build, this role will resonate.

Skills & Experience:
Strong experience as a Cloud / DevOps Engineer in a SaaS or product environment
Solid hands‑on experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
Strong containerisation experience using Docker and exposure to Kubernetes
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
Monitoring and alerting experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
Experience with cloud security best practices and performance optimisation
Comfortable working across teams to troubleshoot and improve production systems
Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail

Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Systems (preferred)
Relevant AWS certifications beneficial but not mandatory
