POSITION INFO:
A well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in Pretoria is looking for a Senior Risk & Compliance Officer to take ownership of enterprise-wide risk and compliance — not as a tick-box exercise, but as a strategic business partner.

Your Impact:
In this role, you won’t sit on the side-lines. You’ll be at the heart of decision-making, shaping how the business identifies, manages, and mitigates risk while ensuring regulatory compliance across the organisation.

You Will...:

Drive and continuously enhance the enterprise risk management framework
Lead compliance strategy across legislation, regulations, and internal governance
Act as a trusted advisor to EXCO, senior leadership, and the board
Identify emerging risks and translate them into practical, business-ready solutions
Embed a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation
Oversee audits, regulatory engagements, and compliance monitoring
Develop policies, controls, and reporting that actually work in practice

What You Bring:

Senior-level experience in risk, compliance, governance, or internal controls
Strong working knowledge of South African regulatory frameworks
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
A strategic mindset with the confidence to operate independently
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Relevant qualifications in Risk, Compliance, Law, Finance, or related fields
