Senior Contracts Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Contracts Manager – HVAC Project Management – East Rand

The role of the Senior Contract Manager is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Contract Manager will also analyse and review contractual documents, track events of entitlement, draft and issue notices and claims, and follow-up on all project contractual matters. To facilitate, assist guide the various business functions of the project in managing the risk of all aspects of the project.

Minimum requirements:

Technical HVAC knowledge. Preferably a Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Project Management or equivalent
10 years direct work experience in an HVAC project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. (Minimum R 35 mil value)
Further training in construction contracts such as NEC, JBCC and FIDIC
Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
Demonstrated experience in personnel management
Working knowledge of risk management/loss control philosophy.
